Valmiki - வால்மீகி - Watch HQ DVD

Valmiki - வால்மிகி - Watch Movie Online for Free

Produced by Vikatan Talkies, "Valmiki" is a tale of a young wayward youth, who gets reformed. The title probably takes its inspiration from saint Valmiki, who wrote the great epic "Ramayana". Valmiki was said to have been a robber earlier in his life but later reformed.

The movie is about Pandi (Akil), born and brought up in a Chennai slum. An orphan, he makes a living robbing others. His jovial ways win him the admiration of many. He comes across a good samaritan for Vandhana (Meera Nandan), who runs a cråée. She is committed to helping others.

One day, Pandi saves Vandhana from a lunatic (Badava Gopi). They begin to meet each other often and soon Vandhana develops a soft corner for Pandi. Pandi, fearing that he might lose the friendship of Vandana, hides the fact that he is a robber. Vandhana, however, comes to know about his profession. She vows to reform Pandi, but succeeds in her mission only after a disaster. Akil, who burst onto the scene with "Kallori", has done a decent job. Meera Nandan reminds one of Nadhiya. Despite the fact that her character is cliched, her spontaneous expressions deserve a mention. Newcomer Devika impresses. Ilayaraja's music remind of his earlier ones. A couple of songs, however, sound good and fit into the story perfectly. His background score lifts the narrative in many places.

Marudhanayagam - மருதநாயகம் - Kamal Hassan New Tamil Movie

Marudhanayagam Kamal Hassan's Eagerly Awaited Movie

This movie has been circling for nearly 10 years, due to the financial needs of the movie. With nearly 100+ crores needed for this movie to be produced, Kamal has a lot on his plate, but there is good news as the latest rumours suggest that a Los Angeles production company has approached Kamal with a possibility of investment.

We hope that Kamal get to do his magnus opus as the younger generation will get to know about the Colonial Wars.

(Marudhanayagam) Pillai, or Muhammad Yusuf Khan, was born in Pannaiyur, Ramanad District, Tamilnadu, India in 1725. From humble beginnings, he became a warrior in the Arcot troops, later Commandant for the British East India Company troops. The British and the Arcot Nawab used him to suppress Polygars (Palayakkarar) in the South Tamilnadu. The polygar system had evolved with the extension of Vijayanagar rule to Tamil Nadu by the Nayaks. It was the brain-child of Aryanatha Mudaliar (Thalavaai Mudaliar), the celebrated tamil general and prime minister of Viswanatha Nayak, the first Nayak ruler of Madurai. The country was divided into provinces or Palayams (pronounced Paalayam). Each palayam usually consisting of a few villages, was placed under the control of a Palayakkaran (Polygar or Poligar as mentioned in the English records) who was expected to provide in return, an annual tribute and military service to the Madurai ruler.Later he was entrusted to administrating the Madurai country when the Madurai Nayaks rule ended. During that uncertain period he demonstrated his considerable abilities as an administrator. Later a dispute arose with the British and Arcot Nawab, and three of his associates were bribed to capture Yusuf Khan; he was hanged in 1764 in Madurai. He was the first freedom fighter even before Kattabomman.

Great Warrior
By 1760 he had reached the zenith of his career as the 'all-conquering' military commandant. (A few years earlier he had been given the rank of 'Commandant of Company's sepoys'). His greatest supporter during this period was George Pigot, the English governor in Madras. Yusuf Khan was held in very high esteem even after his death by the English and in their opinion he was one of the two great military geniuses India had ever produced; the other being Hyder Ali of Mysore. Yusuf Khan was regarded for his strategy and Hyder Ali for his speed. Major General Sir. John Malcolm said of him almost a fifty years later,"Yusuf Khan was by far the bravest and ablest of all the native soldiers ever to serve the English in India".

Winning Many Wars circa 1755 Packing the French Troops in Madras Fort
circa 1756 Defeated Madurai Ruler Barkadthulla (who wanted to build a Dargah over Madurai Meenakshi Temple after destroying it) & his large army with just 400 troops
Destroyed the hegemony of the Kallars & the Palayakkars & brought order
Captured several of Puli Thevar's (Pooli Thevar) a polygar of Nerkattumseval forts which could not be captured by Britishers alone. Captured Puli Thevar & planned to hang him in Kalugu Malai.
Chased the Dutch to their Ships at Alwarthirunagari
Killed Alagu Muthu Kone, a rebel to the British
Warred with Travancore Maharaja without consent of British
Warred with Ramnad Zamin’s general Damodar Pillai and Thandavarayan Pillai
Defeated Travancore Raja
Joined with French to rebel against the British
Hoisted French Flag on Madura Fort
1763 British Army could not win over Yusuf Khan, retreats at MAdurai
the Arcot Nawab consulted Sivaganga General Thaandavaraaya Pillai
While doing Namaz in his house, he was numbed by his own deputies, gifted to Arcot Nawab Muhammad Ali Khan Walajah, who hanged him at Dabedar Chandai (Shandy) near Sammatti Puram, on Madurai-Dindigul road

Asal - அசல் - Tamil Movie Video Song - The New Ajith Movie

Ajith's 'Asal' Story Line Leaked

Ajith will be playing a dual role and for the second time for director Saran, after Attagasam. Asal is being produced by Sivaji Productions, which is run by Prabhu. As with all Ajith movies, like Billa and Aegan, rumours of the storyline has spreading like wildfire throughout Kollywood.

It is known that there will be two heroines, probably one for each role Ajith 'Thala' plays. Sameera Reddy will be playing one and other heroine is Bhavana. These two beauties ensure a colourful viewing for the public.

See the pictures below and you would know what I'm talking about.

The storline for Asal goes as Ajith will be playing the role of an international don, doing multi million dollar deals around the world. During this period, mysteriously, his close associates are murdered under mysterious circumstances.

Then enters, the second Ajith, who aims to catch the murdered. The twist in the tale is that the Ajith's motives are unknown, as the audience are left wondering if he is a Police Officer or person who is seeking vengence for the loss of a beloved person.

This movie will be shot entirely outside India, and has been reported that America, Canada and primary European countries are locations for key scenes in the movie.

This movie has already got a good start, as 'Superstar' Rajinikanth has stated that this movie with mirror the success of 'Chandramukhi', which brought the star back from 'Baba'. We hope 'Ajith Thala' who still has a lot to give to the industry. His potential hasn't been unleashed yet due to him not having the plots to make him truly shine.

We at Students4Peace are wishing the star all our very best and have released a Asal Movie Full Video Song. Check it out.

Enthiran Rajini - என்திரன் ரஜினிகாந்த - Rajini Aishwarya Rai Enthiran Movie

Enthiran Movie Gallery, Endhiran Movie Stills

Shankar’s Enthiran, Rajinikanth plays a dual role as Robot and a scientist. The shooting of Endhiran has been progressing in undisclosed areas in and around Chennai. With a budget over 100+ Crores and with Aishwarya Rai alone getting 4 crores, it promises to be a high budget, magnus opus that Shankar has always want to do. The news has leaked that Peter Hain will be the Stunt Director and the ever youthful A.R. Rahman at the helm as the Music Director. Ayngaran International and Eros, who were the initial Producers have stepped away, leaving room for Sun Pictures to step in and take over.

The movie is currently being shot and is expected to be released for the Tamil New Year on the 14th April 2010.

Many records have already been broken if the rumours are true, for example, the 4 crores given to Aishwarya Rai, which makes her the highest paid Indian Actress ever and the other being the 30 crores being spent on a SINGLE song, making it the most extragravant song title ever to be produced.

Soundarya Rajinikanth, will be doing the the CG work for the movie and as Shankar only chooses the best people, we can be guaranteed that her job of creating Jeano, the companion for Rajinikath will be a piece of art. It is noted that she has done a magnificent job with Sultan, the Warrior.

Raju Sundaram and Ragava Lawrence will be choreographing for the songs, hence we can ensure the best from them. Rajinikanth, who is very youthful could be seen doing invigorating steps, including a salsa number.

Check out the pictures, which are updated on a daily basis. Its on as we get them.
